Understanding the Station and Degrees of the Luminosity of the Imam Mahdi (AJ) and Its Dimensions

Abstract

The blessings and blessings present in the universe, whether material or spiritual, are bestowed through the mediation of the sacred essence of the Imam Mahdi. God began the creation of the universe with the essences of the Fourteen Infallibles and concludes it with them; their existence is the cause of the stability, continuity, and survival of the contingent realm. Narrations emphasize that the recognition (Ma'rifah) of the Imam of every age must be realized through the "Knowledge of the Imam's Station of Luminosity." However, much of the existing knowledge within the Shiah community is not formed on this basis, which significantly impacts the manifestation of his Guardianship (Wilayah), devotion to him (Muwalat), and dissociation (Bara'at) from his enemies. Based on this necessity, the author employs a descriptive-analytical method to explore the dimensions of the Station of Luminosity of the Imam of the Age (AJ). Ultimately, the research concludes that the Infallible Imams reside in a station of luminous and qualitative unity; accordingly, the attributes of luminosity found in all the Infallibles exist within the Imam Mahdi as well. In the current era, attaining any degree of these luminous stations depends on a spiritual journey (Suluk) alongside the Imam, and his occultation or lack of public appearance does not constitute an obstacle to benefiting from this station of luminosity or traversing its levels.
