The abundance of Mahdist hadiths, compared to many other topics, is impressive and deserves attention. These hadiths were transmitted at different periods, and despite the insistence and command of the infallibles on the accuracy of transmitting the hadiths, some changes in chain of transmission and content sometimes occurred due to factors such as: personal motives, environmental factors, and the phenomenon of deviant sects. These transformations were mainly in the form of: transfer in meaning, correction, distortion, fragmentation, and the like. The two basic questions for this research are: How many of the existing hadiths are definitely issued by the infallibles^? To what extent did possible changes in narratives play a role in shaping and transforming Mahdist teachings? To what extent did possible changes in narratives play a role in shaping and transforming Mahdist teachings? It seems that although these changes in the chain of transmission and text of the hadiths did not cause a significant change in the content of many hadiths, some of the existing teachings are the result of some changes.
