The view about continuation of the government of Imam Mahdi by his children at the end of time is one of the theories that have been raised for the events related to the fate of the world. This view was first among the Sunnis, but in the current era, this issue has turned from a scientific theory to a deviant view. The most important evidence of this view is the narrative called "Wasiyat (the will)" whose believers, especially the deviant Yamani group, have made great efforts to validate it. In the present article, we are looking to examine how much valid is the most important evidence of the government of Imam Mahdi's children. Therefore, "Narrative of the Will" has been fully examined in the library method and with an analytical-critical approach, first from the perspective of the evidence, and it has been clarified that most of the narrators of the evidence dynasty are unknown, and there is even a serious doubt as to whether some of them are Shiites. Then, the content of the narrative has been scrutinized and it has been determined that the narrative has considerable ambiguity in terms of the text. Therefore, the most important evidence of this theory totally lacks credibility and consequently, the theory of the government of the children of Imam Mahdi has no reliable evidence.
